Work In Progress
How can we weigh a person’s life, when they are looking right back at us?
Two people stand in a room, waiting for a phone call. Between them, is a choice that could kill millions – or just one.
With the threat of nuclear war looming, the President and a Volunteer convene to discuss the two possible outcomes of their situation. But, there is nothing they can do until the call comes through – so what do they do in the meantime? Family, power, freedom, choice, value, expectation. What do you discuss when the end might be seconds away, and you’re the one who chooses to pull the trigger?
When the situation is dire, do you choose people, or country? Duty, or humanity? Is one life truly worth less than millions of others? Could you make that call?
