Something in the Water

Theatre

By Bianca Bality + Joe Wilson

Have you ever done something you didn’t know you’d regret?

A first kiss. An erection. A curiosity. And shouldn’t all young boys and girls have a healthy curiosity?

Something in the Water centres around four teens that live in a town where nothing ever happens and no one ever leaves.
Knowing each other since they were young has led to an
incestuous friendship circle; everyone knows each others’
business.

Stunted and unable to shake the labels they assigned to one another as children, the teens have reached boiling point. In a desperate attempt to shake things up, a seemingly innocent game ends in violence.
